When I grow up I would like to be a film director. One of the main things that inspired me to want to become a director is Quentin’s 2009 masterpiece Inglorious Basterds. Like all of Quentin’s films, it is a mixture of vibrant dialogue, great visuals and cool music. Within a month of seeing Inglorious Basterds I had seen every movie Quentin directed.
It is a dream of mine to speak to Mr.Tarantino. All of Quentin’s films are edited by the late Sally Menke. When I heard of Sally’s passing, I was greatly saddened. I was also worried that Quentin may never work again. And if Quentin didn’t work again then there would be a huge gap in the cinema world. If I were talk to him, then I could ask him if he will work again.
If I were to talk to him I would have so many questions. For example some of my questions would be:
- Have you ever met Francis Ford Coppola
- What is it like winning an Academy Award?
- Did you keep any props from your movies?
- What advice would he have for me to become a director
And the list goes on.All of Quentin’s movies are among my favorite movies of all time, it would be an honor to speak to him and I would like to thank you for the opportunity.
